Status of the Unit: power increase after outage
Overfilling of the primary coolant drainage tank registered. Water contaminated by boric acid of 20 m3 amount overflowed from the tank TB30B02 into operational room A 023/2 (inside the controlled area). The cause of the event was inoperable measurement of the level in the tank during its filling. Leakage was collected into special drainage piping and then transported into auxiliary service building (BAPP). According to the preliminary results the the surface contamination in the room A 023/2 was 8Bq/cm2 approx. and activity of the water was 105 – 106 Bq/l. No personal contamination registered, no radioactive releases out of controlled area.
