INSPECTION ASSESSMENT

The assessment of inspection results is based on sorting all inspection findigs with respect to above defined categories and to nuclear facility. Conclusions are made to assess the present situation of nuclear facility. Using the database of protocols and results of "inspection commission"  the reports on facility safety status is prepared and final "mark" is issued according to set categories:

Category 1: Licensee attention is consistently focused on nuclear safety and radiation protection requirements observation. Programs, specifications and regulations grant effective control. Corrective actions are technically accurate, summarized and complete. Non-compliances are solved in time using consistent root cause analyses with adequate depth consideration.

Category 2: Licensee attention is focused on nuclear safety and radiation protection requirements observation. Programs, specifications and regulations grant necessary control, some failures occur. The results of root cause analyses are implemented in course corrective actions are mostly effective, but sometimes actions are not completely solved.

Category 3: Licensee attention given to nuclear safety and radiation protection requirements is on low level. Programs, specifications and regulations does not grant necessary control in important areas. Higher number of minor non-compliances shows that corrective actions are inaccurate. Root cause analyses have not adequate depth consideration.

Category N: The consistent informations are not available cause no such activities or no inspection were done in assessed period.
