Large-Scale Emergency Exercise „ZONE 2013“ is Taking Place Next Week

Its main objective is to test emergency preparedness as well as activities and performance of crisis management authorities, bodies of integrated rescue system and other authorities acting in emergency using the scenario of a simulated radiation emergency at the Nuclear Power Plant Dukovany.

This exercise follows previous large-scale exercises carried out in the years 2008 („ZONE 2008“ at the Dukovany NPP) and 2010 („ZONE 2010“ at the Temelín NPP).
