Medical exposure
Medical exposure represents interdisciplinary area which merges requirements on radiation protection (protection from exposure) with requirements on health services and their quality. This unique combination traditionally leads to involvement of both, medical law and nuclear law. Therefore, besides the Act No. 236/2016 Coll., Atomic Act, and Decree No. 422/2016 Coll., on radiation protection and security of a radioactive source, following regulations are applied on medical exposure:
- Act No. 373/2011 Coll., on specific health services, esp. its Chapter V,
- Decree No. 410/2012 Coll., laying down rules and procedures for medical exposure.
